Tournament Overview
Start Date: March 20, 2019
End Date: May 05, 2019
See website link for full details. Basic details below.
-The first week you will play all 10 games and have your scores recorded. Scores are ranked against everyone in the league. Point value is based on how many entrants. If there are 50 people in the league, top score is worth 50 points. #2 score is worth 49 and so on down the line. After that, you will be placed in divisions with players of similar ranking. The first week is the only time we use this scoring.
-Once you are placed in your divisions, you are put in a group of four players within the division. You will play three randomly assigned games each week. Scoring for those games is 7,5,3,1 for 1st through 4th place. If you get first or second place in the group, you will be bumped up the next group (or maintain your position if in the highest group). If you get third or fourth, you drop down to the next group. You can go up and down an entire division! For example, if you are in the top group of B division and get first or second place, you move up to the bottom group of A.
-Finals will be broken up on two days. Finals will consist of four four person groups per division. Two games played for the first two rounds. Three games for the final round. Three rounds (16->8->4). Scoring of 4,2,1,0. Top two advance. Games will be randomly chosen.
